They questioned how social cues in Korea might differ from what they are used to and how to adapt. While I covered a bit of superstitions and etiquette before, which influence the culture and how people act. Some extra things don’t seem as obvious, and while strange to us, they can seem second nature in Korea.

Noun Town is a game that focuses on teaching many different aspects of language through gaming. In a 3D isometric world, you get to explore and literally add color back into the town by learning new things. The game is available for a lot of languages: Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, and of course Korean!

Today is 한글날 or Hangul Day, which is a Korean holiday dedicated to celebrating the Korean writing system and its creator King Sejong! So to commemorate, I’ll go through a bit on Hangul’s history, King Sejong, and some resources on how to learn Hangul yourself.
