What is Summer Like in Korea?
Summer in South Korea starts around June and ends in August with a lot of hot and humid weather. Like other Asian countries with monsoon season, the rainy season or 장마 begins around mid-June and lasts for about a month.
Summer vacation for students usually lasts from mid-July to mid-August. Popular outdoor summer activities include hiking, going to the beach, biking, and camping.
